原推：@nicksdjohnson @balajis Ok I just forced my brain to try to make a case for the 1D model and the best I can come up with is heat dissipation.
Urban heat islands are a big deal, and SA has lots of heat naturally, I can see how making the city a thin strip with mirrors on both sides might improve things.
